A mathematical model describing chemical kinetics of transesterification of rapeseed oil for biodiesel production in a batch reactor in subcritical methanol has been developed. If the molar ratio MeOH:oil is in range 6:1 ~ 9:1 the single liquid phase is formed and the reaction proceeds in an optimal regime. A very good correlation between model simulations and experimental data was observed.

LOW TEMPERATURE DME SYNTHESIS BASED ON METHANOL

Low temperature process of methanol dehydration to dimethyl ether (DME) over polyoxide catalyst VKT 9 in the temperature range of 110 220 and pressures of 0.1 2.0 MPa is proposed. Kinetic model of the reaction of methanol dehydration was constructed and model parameters were estimated due to the results of sequentially planned experiments carried out in a plug flow reactor. Chemical technological process scheme providing both high purity DME and DME for fuel applications was calculated.

The quantitative and structure characteristics of the coke deposits formed in EDC pyrolysis process were investigated. It was determined that the main precursors of coke are chloroprene and acetylene which are the byproducts of the EDC pyrolysis process. Moreover the rise of EDC conversion leads to increase of coke deposits on the reactor surface. The calculation of the coke layer thickness in the different reactor zones was conducted.

The mathematical description of dependence of the redox potential curves on the time showed that they are logarithmic. Correlations between the value and direction of potential shifts and the clinical behavior of complications such as cholestasis, pneumonia, septic conditions, an overdose of drugs has been established. The relation between the values of redox potential shifts with the results of anti inflammatory treatment was observed.

Some results of researches of process of a filtration of aerosols of technical carbon with various physical and chemical properties in a layer of carbon granules are presented. Conditions was found at which efficiency of process of precipitate of carbon black in layer of granules, both in laboratory, and in industrial conditions attain more 99 %.
